Backyard Living vs. Balcony time

It’s almost time for that time of the year where we spend more time outside. The season of BBQ and outdoor living starts. Nature around us is waking up and reminding us to prepare our backyards and balconies for summer time. It’s best to plan any possible renovations ahead of time and then relax for the rest of the summer.

It’s a good time to check and clean the balcony of the condo and unpack chairs and tables, to plant some flowers or check garden centers and buy ready to hang pots. Even a small balcony could offer you an enjoyable time outside with a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine in the nice summer evening amids lights and city sounds.

Decks and backyards require more attention and work. You could take your outside space to the next level. You could build a fancy pergola and let a beautiful ivy to braid around its posts and roof. In the corner of your garden you could build a sauna and add a spa-time to your family life.

Even small sheds can add a nice touch to your backyard. They could be used as a summer tea (or not just tea) little house or a man cave. Maybe you decided to build a wood oven or an outside kitchen if you're a foodie. A nice fire pit is also a good option so spend time with family or friends on a cool summer night.

Also don’t forget to check your deck. After winter it might need some small repairs or paint or just any upgrades such a roof or new rails. Once you marked all points in your checklist you’ll enjoy your outside living the whole summer without any worries.
